fuel Posted September 26, 2012 Share Posted September 26, 2012 the VIN inspection will be approx $300 as opposed to the $400 because it is pre 1991 and therefore doesn't get as stripped down like a fresh import would. It's basically a slightly tougher WOF inspection. However because it's a diesel and you need to get a minimum of 6 months initial registration that alone would cost about $400 + any diesel miles it may need.
