Well that was entertaining.

EVERYONE broke down and the cops were called on us again.

We are still bulletproof as the police reckoned we werent/arent doing anything wrong and as long as we are wearing helmets/being safe (pah), not drinking alcohol (bahahahahahahahahahahahahh) and courteous to other users then there is nothing we are doing wrong.

Badgers...bulletproof since 2012!

Pictures!

First off the mark was the flying dutchman

However he didn't quite make it around the steep corner, hence the slightly bemused fellas in the background

Then after the chillybin got some serious wheel wobble and snapped a chain, there was another contender out for a run

Here comes noisy MKII after the exhaust arrived

The motion blur is just a camera effect, it didn't actually go that fast :P

Crazy ex-outboard powered velo. Unsure if it actually went though

Not to sound like a stick in the mud but you guys have it pretty sweet being able to use that track. Eventually the cops will say no and start handing out fines if they keep getting called out there. I believe the issue is the noise. I think start investing in some mufflers to ensure hassel free usage of the track. Not many places in auckland where you can ride around a circular track like that for free. I for one am going to build a veloracer. I hope to use the velodrome aswell. Just my 2 cents.

Was great to see all the bikes out there on saturday. Looking forward to building something myself and joining in.

you can use 1/2" pitch chain from saeco, or if your still working out south then maud kirk,

it fits on bicycle sprockets / is wide as heck / looks cool

just make sure you get american/"ansi40" chain, the rollers are smaller than british,

(i.e. if you use american chain, you can use whatever sprockets that are availiable/cheap/mishmash sprockets)
