danger
What did the gold passivating cost? Looks really good.
rotorhoe
Cheers. The main details we know are minor bridgeport 12a but I've asked the chap who built it Passivating was $40 for a whole mixture of pieces and air filter stickers were made for us and brother stuck them on. Just found a place that'll polish my hotwires for $60 a wheel if anyone is keen on getting theirs done. Pretty cheap for the amount of time and patience it takes. rotorhoe
The specs are 12a with Bridge porting, light flywheel, balanced rotating assymebly, modified nikki 4 barrel carb
danger
We had a set of hotwires lathed once they looked awesome. Its probably extend primary secondary bridge then. Cant tell much without taking intake manifold off
rotorhoe
lathed hotwires would be sweet. did give it a go polishing them myself but damn takes a lot of time.
Simon
I presume you're going for standard hotwire look with polished spokes and painted insides? The way I did it was polish them well first (which I guess you've done), then use that see through sticky tape that you get in little plastic snail dispensers and cover the front polished part with it. Then take a razor blade or new craft knife and cut off the bits round the edges so it's only the polished front that is covered. It's easy cos you just run the blade along the edge as a guide. Will take you a lot of time, girls have more patience though haha. Then paint, let dry and peel the tape off. Guaranteed best looking set of hottiez in the country. rotorhoe
Does anyone happen to have a spare Hotwire or 2? 13s and will pay for them ofcourse. Turns out mine were Ford ones after all the time spent working on them haha. they've been machined now but two are unusable
