Unclejake
Lols. TBH once upon a time when rushing to a Helicopter down a gravel road for a deer stalking mission I holed the tank in my Alfa GTV. I rubbed untold soap into the split. Didn't work. Lubs.

My name is Russell
Tried using that stuff to seal an extremely small hole in sump but just seeped around the side. Different temperatures and density fluid i guess. bubble gum?

If you took the sump off, degreased it and applied it right it should have worked as a temporary measure. If you just jammed it on over top of all the oil and crap it won't work. If you were to whip the sump off you might aswell get it welded any way though so kind of defeats the purpose.
My name is Russell
This was an emergency slap it on the bottom, the night before admins wedding situation But yeah that stuff sets extremely hard! Wish some cunt didn't put it all in my pillar, its making the rust repair double hard!
