I'm sure a rebuild would be less than 700, plus it mean you can retain all your factory parts
mikuni
I think sheepers rebuilt his little twins on his 1jz (yes I know they are different) with steel wheels so you could talk to him perhaps if you wanted guidance, approximate costs etc

FLAWLES
more dumb questions i have been looking at these http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=665 is there any advantages to upgrading the internal wastegate actuators?
QCADTA
for the price of that youd better of running a second hand hks evc off trade me imo.
FLAWLES
yea wouldnt go off the american prices japan landed are about 250nzd im running a blitz sbc-II any way, so what your saying is that they both do the same thing? and no point in getting it? QCADTA
its only a pneumatic diaphram that opens and shuts the waste gate, it works or it doesnt work, so unless the internal spring is shagged in it id spend my money on something else for your engine. Honda Ass Dragger
from what I understand these are essentially the same as changing you waste gate spring on an external, but the internal version of doing it Pretty much means you can raise you boost level with out buying a controller BTW did you talk to your uncle about hi-flowing your ct15b I like the idea of keeping the stock turbo, as it means you can keep all the factory pipe work for the stealth mode
thegreatestben
Figured this is a good thread to add my next question to. I'm gonna be running a "blow off valve" in my setup, I'm gonna be throwing some pretty high pressures down the system (20psi or so) is a factory bosch or similar valve like the ones in the links gonna be able to operate correctly under that sort of load or do I need to get something like a good quality aftermarket jobby? Want it to be plumb back regardless. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 910808.htm or http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 812445.htm
