EURON8
Hey guys, Failed wof on van, brakes, mirror, and tires so i brought some 5x114 wheels with mint tires to get the wof with. Went to bolt them on and the centre hole is smaller than the hub. So needs to be bored out. I know a few of you guys have had it done, What sorta price would i be looking at and can they do it with the tires on? I only got these wheels for the wof so dont wanna spend heaps on fitting them. heres hopin, Need it done ASAP, need Wof before newyears. chur
eke_zetec_RWD
you wud be hard presed to find a lathe that will do it with tyres on. so take em off. then prob a hour or to at a engineer.
thegreatestben
Had this problem with the Hilux, Falcon rims fit over hubs judging by the foul rims that are on the ute now
escorted
I would do it for A box of beers but i dont think i could swing it in my lathe. But a good engineer/turner could get it done in under an hour
drftnmaz
if its urgent just bust the die grinder out on it... most wheels arn't hubcentric and wof guys dont often check that they are
OSM Garage
Would be able to get away with using 5mm spacers? Quick, cheap fix, but not legal (I dont think)
lowlancer
Nah. Have to be bolted on and then they have to be certed and 25mm max I believe

EURON8
Thanks guys, Just got some tires for the current wheels, and will use the tires off these for my daily when i decide to get that a warrent. I found a place on the shore that would do them for $20 -$25 a wheel without tires on, but he couldn't do it before Xmas.
