Jase
had good friend put my tires on and was going to drop it on the ground but still have clearance issues with width so will wait for the diff to get finished, also whacked the crossmember back in and dummy fitted the new sump, lil odd jobs but getting progress , whats your fellas thoughts, make a complete new custom sump from scratch or patch the old one? KKtrips
just after some ideas guys i popped the x member off the other day but i'm running out of time with this, I have an xd lsd on the way and want to go discs all round, this may mean i either have to convert axles to 4x100 or i convert the whole car to 5x114, and be able to utilise a huge array of mags and brake components that are availible, i want to get it running first with the piazza front, gemi diff set up and at least be able to have a play, the problem there will be all my gearing is going to be quite low which is going to have me tapped out at 150km/h on 16's, so what cars have a similar wishbone set up that is 5x114, and the back end will be a four link with a watts eventually once it gets set up with an lsd, I know i take off in more directions than a windvane in a tornado but any ideas would be appreciated I think early L200 has similar wishbone and ford stud pattern
Jase
any thoughts on the brake setup, need to find a disc combo in 28mm or 27mm with a low hat, evos may be close i think in 300mm preludes are not thick enough audis ditto

Jase
296mm diameter or close by 28mm thick rotor with a 19 or 20mm hat i can have the mounts on the calliper milled to get the offset perfect, 47mm from top of hat to back of rotor is ideal 48mm is tight. centre bore is 68mm

EURON8
hey man, Did you make your own engine brackets? I just bolted the standard SD1 mounts to standard brackets and its to wide to meet up to the hiace crossmember. where brackets = the part that bolts to engine and mounts = the rubber bits that add flex. Trying to find out if other RV8 epuipped cars had shorter ones or if im gonna have to make something from scratch. Got pics of the mount setup?
