Yuck. Thrust washers nipped up for some reason - was possibly supplied with oversized ones and only needed standards. Didn't check, my bad.

It has quite a lot of crank end float, so I'll need to whip new thrusts in there tonight - hopefully they can be installed in place but can't count on it.

Fucked as in I have two spare cranks on my shelf and two more in engines. The scored one will come back to life with a grind of the thrust surface and some oversized washers, but why bother when there are two mint ones ready to go? :P .

Will try to get more bearings tomorrow and hopefully it will be back on the dyno by Tuesday.

Have new bearings and thrusts sitting in my garage now and the old man is cleaning engine parts as we speak. Took the crank, cams etc out and put the engine through a parts washer at Palmerston North Automotive - so we're all clean and it shouldn't be a major to get it back together.
