fuel
yeah probably wouldn't be bad but 175/70s are a bit balloonish, am keen on having a smaller sidewall but not really small haha.. just a compromise in between.
mikuni
If they are a real smooth, plain sidewall you should pain them white
Sparkle
Im thinking a pale yellow could work well. Like the yellow that the lolly bananas are. Fuck yes.
Toucan
Put tyres on this + pics, asap
fuel
have decided to paint the rims (as the band is a different finish to the rest of the rim and would look shit when it rusts) before putting the tyres on (which I finally collected today). I also want to paint the suspension bits with POR15 and wheelwells while it's off the ground too. So maybe a week. Will put up pics with the test 165 mounted on a rim on the Viva tonight though. Requiemk
mint tyre to rim combo there. leave rims as is colourwise.
Toucan
Fuck yeh. I'd go a darker colour than grey to get the most from the chrome hubcap
fuel
yeah I was thinking a light gunmetal colour, but nothing quite as dark like black. Sorta realise after spending $700 on wheels and tyres I best be wanting them looking as good as possible. Three of the rims the original paint has pitted and corroded but one of the rims is a light grey/silver colour which doesn't look bad. kyteler
A medium metallic grey would be win, imo.
mikuni
I reckon going to 175's was a good choice. Harden up and paint them pink
Insani-T
I say just hurry the fuck up and roll that shit...... But also a gunmetal colour would look sweet
KKtrips
Titanium is a real sweet colour - think just the lightest tinge of gold on a gunmetal grey base
Gaz
Fuck that rules. I didnt follow and had forgoten you were even getting them done. What it cost in end all up if I may ask? Looks banging, forcing mrs to do same to hers.
Insani-T
Either I am blind or you havent said anywhere. What size was the rim before you had it done and what is it now? It may be worth me doing something similar with my 13's
fuel
They were 13x4" (haha) originally, widened 3" out to 13x7", offset went from +30 to -9 if my calculations are correct. Cost just under $300 including GST to have them widened and freighted back to my doorstep, cost another $30ish to get sent down - and the 175/60s cost $360 all up. Insani-T
Sweet, think mine are 13x4.5. Very impressed with how yours look. So will most likely go the same way. They do it auzzie alot it seems.
Gaz
Good shit. 3inch is the max they will put in right?
fuel
I assume so, the max you can legally is 75mm if the rim is 10" or larger in diameter.
