Steering wheel shakes?

A wheel balance will take 5 minutes and shouldnt cost you more than $20 for all four corners.

A wheel out of balance will definately cause the steering wheel to shake and is the cheapest and easiest thing to do to rule out the problem. Could also be caused by other issues but try getting them balanced and see how you go

yeah will most lickely be an unbalanced rear wheel.Try that first and see what happens

front wheels bo3 not rear

yea it will be out of balance wheels most likely

check they are not wearing unevenly, had it happen on a car i bought new tyres but had bad wheel alingnment and the front to got shagged on the inside fast as so put them out of balance

Not necessarily... when I first lowered the merc, I towed a log splitter to palmy and over 80 the front/steering wheel shook so bad I actually stopped to check teh wheel nuts... it was so bad my horn-ring was rattling on the steering wheel!

got to palmy, unhooked log splitter and drove down the road all the way to 140 without even the slightest wobble... and I used to do tyres/wheel alignments in oz in the mid 90's so I sorta thought I'd fucked something, but the whole time it was the log splitter I was towing...
