Snoozin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Flicked you a PM mate, if they're genuine ones, and in decent condition I suspect we might have a deal. Quote
thminiman Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 more camber on the front, only option in my eyes, wheels look awsome. same as my thught, like fuckloads of camber Quote
Snoozin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 more camber on the front, only option in my eyes, wheels look awsome. same as my thught, like fuckloads of camber I'd rather it drive nice though, than have a twitchy nervous thing with a lot of camber on the front. So it's not an option. Quote
CUL8R Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 @ Snoozin, from memory , a rally mate down here fitted some standard DX corolla bottom arms in , that came him the negative camber. (Bolted straight in) Cant quite rember which model dx corolla it was , the RWD shape or that next shape up from the bottom line model, FWD... Cheers,Chris Quote
Guest sexychevette Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 cheap knockoff? BS!, looks tons better foo. wanna mess?! Nah i agree satin black flares, on your car, will give me hours of orgasmic pleasure. Quote
Snoozin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Stupid wheels. Can't decide what to do with them. I LOVE them... but I don't want to have to compromise the driveability or repaint bits or drill holes in the car to make them fit. Quote
Sparkle Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 fuck, you are seriously a woman man. Stop changing your mind. Quote
Snoozin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I haven't changed my mind I just don't know what I'm gonna do with them. Going to see the panelbeater later this week to get a quote on flaring a spare set of guards subtely to allow them to fit. Still prefer to keep a clean look. Quote
Guest sexychevette Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Narrower and lower profile tyres will also help. Get plenty of stretch on there! Quote
Snoozin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Yeah I'm in the process of trying to source some flares now, Palmy outfits are ridiculously unhelpful.... Unfortunately with a 6.5" rim, stretch is hard to get without having a dangerously small contact patch. 175's will be the narrowest I'd run, and I have managed to get the distance they protrude down to 20mm. So it's not too bad, if it was 10mm I'd leave it as is, but it just looks stupid with that much wheel and tyre sticking out. Quote
corrupt Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 can you get the rear face of the mag machined down to reduce the offset? meh i dunno. they look good though, heaps better than the old set. Quote
Snoozin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 can you get the rear face of the mag machined down to reduce the offset? meh i dunno. they look good though, heaps better than the old set. Nah I looked at that, the mounting face is thin as on them! And yeah, I love the look of them, so fuckit, I want the cunts to fit. Quote
kpr Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 could have modded the x member to bring the lower arms in a touch. then weld some platforms to the struts. for coil over setup, with some camber plates to bring the top in. that way could have got the street fins inside the guards without heaps of camber. and lower it bouns! new rims look pretty sweet tho. coil over it. CaMpylobacter Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Palmy outfits are ridiculously unhelpful.... yup funnily enough the old bolt ons and shit are a bitch to get ahold of. If you find a mean source itd be of benefit to o/s hard Quote
