Cool project. I have been wanting to do a MAME cabinet for years. I have a couple of HDD's with thousands of ROM's on them. Allegedly.

I need a FSU resistor for my climate control e36 in case you are chopping one up. This post brought to you by wild turkey.

This is a great read. I drove the company mondeo turbo diesel wagon from Stratford to Taumaranui a couple of years ago. Epic road especially on a Wednesday morning. The only other traffic were camper vans who were very courteous.

Looking really good so far, well done. -
I have a E36 328 sedan that has done just over 280,000 kms, and lately it seems a little hesitant at low revs. Never thought about looking at VANOS seals. It is a single vanos M52B28. It has been super reliable, I have had it since 160,000. The only major I have had to do was the ABS pump. Goes round corners real good too.

My father used to have a Borgward Arabella. Useless bit of info for you. -
Fair enough!

What made you change from the 3.0 so quickly? Does the V8 have much more power?

My father fitted a subaru 1.8 flat four under the floor of a launch he built, worked OK and fitted under the floor with no hump or engine box required. Is there a decent sized diesel version of a subaru flat four?

Longest delay ever! Back a few years ago when Dad was selling the car, someone phoned up asking for photos. So he sent them ALL the photos in an envelope and never got them back. however I was on facebook last night and someone uploaded a couple of early photos of the fronte, before he spaceframed it and put big flares on etc. It was still road-legal at this point. I'll upload in a sec.

That manifold is awesome man, a work of art. Which supercharger are you fitting? M112? Are you going to use any charge-cooling?
-
Well done great to see it legal!
-
What kind of supercharger is that? M90 or similar?
-
Wicked car man, good work keeping it oldschool with the 4K.

Cool car. Is it a 390? Is there much room around the sides for headers? My father has a 61 thunderbird and the cast exhaust manifolds weigh a ton and don't look like they flow that well, bu there is not much room for anything else. -
Well done on the rust, really good to see you didn't give up and just kept chipping away at it. Looking forward to seeing how it looks after paint, are you going to stick with the factory colour?
