  6. I seriously reckon 1g-fe would be cheaper, esp if you want to stick on a charger. thay have enough power for road tripping etc. I know JZ is super cool and all that but if you want economy you cant go past -FE. Is it really that hard to wire a 1JZFSE? they run the same style of 24v lazy cam setup as a 1gfe or for that matter a 4afe/3sfe. my 2c

  13. My 16v ae92 does 450km on the highway per tank and around 300-330 round town. I drive it like a nana mostly. Its auto. Has new rings and bearings, head gasket and valve stem seals. New filters, plugs, leads and dizzy cap. I think thats as good as it gets bud. Anyone know if universal oxy sensors work on 4ages? i get can get them for like $60 or less. Would been keen to try that theory
  14. Autolign have it but wont give it to you. If you know what youre after they can help though. Theres one in Hams Also Mark at Chamberlains in Christchurch is pretty mean if you just ring up for a yarn with your measurements. He can just make exactly what you need for a similar price to off the shelf.

  18. They are also the people who make Nolathane. They do alot of testing and the stuff is good and for a good price if you dont have to pay full retail. Also being an Aussie product they focus mainly on Holden, Ford and Subaru bits I sold Whiteline and Nolathane for a while and never had a comeback and got plenty of help/ training from the whiteline guys.
  19. Best place to get the bundy tube is automotive supplies/ Autostop. its cheap and easy to use with a flaring tool.
  20. TTY head bolts are a worry but i rekon youll be ok. IMO swapping a motor is an easier job than rebuilding one.
