  1. Edwardo , id stay with 2.5" for the extra ponies you may find will make your gearbox into a lunchbox anyway. At least the parts will all stay inside the gearbox if the casing stays in one piece.
  2. //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/43167-rx2-coupe-by-gaz/ Didnt realise you had a motor for it , should go well. I have a 54mm socket and 3/4 Power bar that a supplier gave me for buying so much work shit , you could of borrowed that for a few months or so if id known. Are you staying 4x110 or converting over?
  3. Good to hear some results Have a mazdaspeed lsd in my rx and its awesome just point, squirt and steer. Have to be real careful on low speed corners to not give it to much boot as it will try and swap ends. How is a shimmed hilux going to compare? Not to keen on single wheeler pealer as its much easier to steer with the foot.....
  4. Haha "NZ" spec big , not "AUS" spec Mr "XS" Big enough for a fright haha
  5. Gooogle find........self education Female Nursery web Spider http://sciblogs.co.nz/chthonic-wildlife-ramblings/2012/05/07/nursery-web-spider-photos-2/
  6. I was actually looking at the roof rack sagging , but the story gets better Alex Im inspired by the amount of work you two simply just "get done" if i had half your work ethic id be driving my car instead of looking at it. Looking forward to see what the pair of you come up with this time...............
  7. Still laughing at the roof rack tapped out on the roof of your van Keep up the good work
  8. https://www.facebook.com/whitehorseindustries Apparently cheaper with the current exchange rate then 41 degrees
  9. Sir voldo Been thinking about throwing some mild cams, say 264's in my sr20det with the new headgasket. What impact will this have on spooling the hairdryer? Assuming it breathes better would help my cause in the mid/upper range?
  10. Awesome work, really cool these days seeing something out of the ordinary and someone go to real lengths to make it fit under the bonnet. Awesome toy, even more awesome engineering...... //techniciantalk
  11. Guessing he means there is no gap, should be a small end gap there when assemble thus allowing for thermal expansion as the motor comes up to temp. Who built the Motor? Silicon Systems Automotive?
  12. Clutch slave cylinder bolts to the motor , try and run the matching master to keep the stroke ratio the same. The clutche ive had done a autoclutch come back with a warning stroke should not exceed 10mm at the slave (may be because I had a billet pp)
  13. Have the same setup but with a w57 Use the flywheel/clutch size that your bellhousing is suited too so 8.5 if rx3/oldschool bellhousing and 9.5 if a turbo one, with a supra splined disc of the matching size. Have heard the spline length can be an issue but I brought mine as a kit so didnt have an issue. Can anyone confirm the thrust bearing surface has to be shortened slighty?(otherwise the kit comes with a bush to suit)
  14. Marc's automotive electrical
  15. Marc kelsey normally comes over for a few days each month and only charges an hours travel from memory
  16. Mine was well over 600 but i think they might be under 600 now. Think it was about 1300-1400 for the radiator and oilcooler combo but this was when all the cheap radiators were starting to come in Before the days of the cheaper alloy ones , ud be silly to pay that now if you didnt have something hardcore
  17. Those cheap ones are a bargin, dollar per value cant bet them. id just pay another $50 odd dollars and buy from a company than an individual. Then you always have their assurance they stand buy there product otherwise they wouldn't be selling them. The rotary community is blessed for choice in the parts department. Keep up the good work rotorhoe and bda, looking forward to checking it out at the ranch one day.
  18. Haha reminds me of an experience I had with these oil coolers Was at the gassy one day, left it running while I checked the tire pressure. This old guy about 50 walks up for what I thought was a chat, "nice car he reckons but leaks a bit of oil" he said. Me thinking its weapin the odd drop the back of the reversed sump "yeah always has" I said while crouched down by the tire. Then he pointed to the ground under the oil cooler and bugger me a patch about 250mm in diameter. One of the fins on my 40 odd year old oil cooler had split on the front and was squirting onto the road. Followed the oil trail all the way home........ Threw that away and brought a nz made real deal one....
  19. Rotorhoe teasing you boys? Guessing the cert man also does warrents so all part of the service? Well Done
  20. Been meaning to have a noisey one day when i go past as they seem to be there most saturdays till about 2pm i guess.
