  1. So fucked off I missed this. I even saw your cars in the street but didn't put two and two together! I thought it was later in the month, so spent the day cleaning up soot, what an idiot. Cracker day for it!
  2. I know someone that mashed valves on a blacktop, could get lucky though. Old belt?
  3. Not allowed, something to do with it becoming brittle / fatigued, from memory. Search reveals the answer (handy tool ) //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/25372-brake-pipe-copper-allowed-in-nz/
  4. I don't think anything happens. I sold a car to a guy who ended up being a bit of a dick. Changed the ownership and spoke to NZTA and they said due to the change of ownership being done, I didn't need to do anything else. So I just went off that. No harm in filling that online form out though now to cover yourself though. My guess is that the disposal part just confirms to NZTA that you have in fact sold it. Rather than someone changing your car into their name when they shouldn't.
  5. People still use paper forms? $9 and 5 minutes online to change it. It's processed instantly too IIRC. That is for change of ownership, which you'd be before handing over keys. I've done it before picking up a car too. Just printed it and showed the seller, no problems. If you haven't changed ownership, do it ASAP.
  6. Depends if the change of ownership has been done or not. I've never done one, I have just made sure the change of ownership was done online, at the time of sale, and i've had the receipt emailed to myself. I assume we are talking about the paper form, not an online one.
  7. What transmission do you have in it now? Could just swap another one of the same type in for max easiness?
  8. Keen to jump on any CHCH photo meat that happens. Your photos look amazing!
  9. I have one, it's 1 1/4" so ~32mm. Do you just need the socket or?
  10. Yeah that doesn't look quite ideal haha.

    4age into AE70

Lots of articles cover TVIS, have a google before going one way or the other. Or get a blacktop 20V for max dorts. Depends on the budget? If I was putting a 4age in mine, i'd go blacktop for sure, great engines. Personal opinion etc.
  12. Depends on the springs too I guess. Put hard enough ones in and you might get no movement.
  13. Are you saying you can't push the front left guard down at all? As in no travel in the suspension, just stuck at max height.
  14. Looks good as it is IMO, just roll as is. I put lows in my car just to get rid of the boat spec rolling on corners. Why do you need coil overs anyway? A lot of money to spend to not be able to actually adjust the height much. A set of custom made springs and new shocks would probably be half the price for the same result.
  15. Finally buying Cams crown aye, about time blardy tyre kicker. /wait... this isn't spam.
  16. Sweet plate! Trailers not bad either though

    4age into AE70

Have a browse of the project car section, there will be many people that have done exactly that. Read their threads, note down what works and what doesn't, and you're half way there. Looks to be relatively easy to do compared to some engine swaps. Good luck. Got any photos of the AE70?
  18. Not sure if it's any good to you, but I have these sections of ply: I just grabbed them to sit things on in storage, but if you want them to use on this, I can even drop them over at some stage. From memory it's about ~12mm thick and the reverse side is plain ply.
  19. Any pics of the brand spankers roof? Paint looks good, amazing what a fresh coat can do.
  20. Only four years between updates haha. Did you end up doing anything with those "rod holders"? Looking pretty flash now though, gotta be happy with that!
  21. What are the inside bits for? Kit set kitchen?
