  2. Hi. Has anyone repaired one? Seems to be that the home switch is either broken or sticky- not keen to experimemt as i dont have a spare.... Works fine but parks in random places when you are in intermittent or turn em off.
  3. Visit a wrecker with modern cars and have a look. I had a panelbeater mate that used to give me lots...was great
  4. I had similar issues a month or so back and a new key fixed it (i just took a punt). Was $120ish all programmed and ready to go. If I buy another holden of similar age I'll get a new fob straight away- its not worth the stress and embarrassment lol
  5. Whats the smell like? Aparently its good for removing hard warter marks in showers and stuff
  6. Hey shouldnt that mold be two piece? Im sure ya have figured this out already haha
  7. I just love these relatively non-toxic and easily accessible options
  8. Ok so i decided to try white vinegar on some rusty floors. I soaked a towel in the stuff and left it to sit overnight. Extremely impressive.. it seems to have even softened the primer that was on there and given me bright bare silver steel. So I am now buying some glycerin and Xanthan gum as apparently that should thicken the vinegar and make it sticky enough to sit on a surface by itself overnight (i found a story on making vinegar based toilet cleaner) Pics of results to follow .
  9. Thanks guys! Thats exactly what i was wanting to know! Hadnt thought about unloader valve (and non return)- good points. Time to mash ali express
  10. Thanks man.. thats way more advanced than i was expecting! Just have access to a perfect tank and pump for a conversion and as i use it very rarely i think full start and stop probably isnt necessary.. Maybe pressure sensitive throttle could work with a centrifugal clutch to disengage pump... i havent googled this or looked for parts yet
  11. Just wondering how these govern air pressure- do any drive the pump fulltime and use a relief valve to simply vent air once at max psi or is there more advanced trickery happening. Experience appreciated
  12. Looks so much better with lamp, bars and deck!
  13. Just follow the instructions and use common sense. If its anything like mine it will need to be as close to below the tank as possible.
  14. Yeah small files! Faster than waiting for laser cutting
  15. The beertap deserves better...lol
  16. So does either of them remove paint?
  17. Have you tried electrolysis? Youd strip that bracket in a night.
  18. That is an interesting drill press! What does the foot in the middle do? Some kinda click clamp? Also, wow so much work on this house!
  19. I have never seen a white interior that's looked good after a bit of use, it just ages soooo poorly. I vote trying for something classy rather than bold- like a dark red or just plain black. I'm constantly surprised at how well some factory interiors in these colours have aged.

Nope, those electronic units are absolute garbage when used as advertised. I believe they CAN be effective on boats where the whole vessel is in salt water ( like how sacrificial metal blocks are bolted to outboard motors for effective protection but won't work when bolted to ya car) I hear some of those rust inhibiting plastic stick things can work well. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volatile_corrosion_inhibitor
  21. It's really easy- just use pin and eye bush mounts like on the end of a panhard bar. Can just cruise to a wrecker, grab one rear link off something like a safari and cut the ends off.
