  1. I mean the jetting might be too big, the mounting is possibly the same. I'l bring one to next burger meet. Sounds like the issue with your engine might be more related to it being a mitsi engine built to korean tolerances on a british chassis
  2. It might be a bit big for your 1.6, I can sell you a carb though, or a complete engine.
  3. Gave the engine bay a quick clean and swapped the crossmember for one that wasn't bashed up by the road and the painted, unbent one fitted
  4. Engine has been getting more and more tired lately, and started smoking/running rough yesterday, so last night and this morning I did this

Its been a busy few months Did some driving Bought a 2nd hand engine with the intention of giving it a rebuild and found this: the previous owner said the engine had been sitting outside under a tarp for 6 months. The rust cleaned up beautifully with a hone and there was no other signs of bhg Short block assembled and painted red to make it go faster Engine ready to go.   7. Is the fuel pump putting out too much pressure for the reg to bleed off? Saw that on the internet once
  8. As far as I know, all the input shafts are the same. Tail housings and output shafts are different. I will test that theory tomorow night, I have one of each box in my shed
  9. 2 options then 1:find a 2.6 sigma box 2:find driveshaft from l200 and fit the gearbox end to the sigma shaft
  10. What was the motor and box from? L200 and sigma have different size output shafts

  14. There was a guy on here that did it on a sigma. I think he used a RVR thermostat housing and some kind of toyota sensor Edit: this one
  15. That would be me, havn't been there for 18months. I only have 1 complete head in my hoard and it is still on the motor, I may be getting another parts head in a couple of weeks
  16. I got told to fill the oil pump with vaseoline or grease on assembly to help it prime
