  1. Wire wheel will take forever. Buy paint stripper and that glad wrap stuff they wrap palets in. It cost me $130 bucks for enough stripper to do the whole car. Put the stripper on the painted surface then overlay the wrap, this stops the stripper drying out and makes the paint easier to get off. Then just scrape and sponge off. Worked sweet, I reckon you could do the whole car in a day or two. Thats what I did for my car then took it to the painters on a trailer. Is this for the Delta or 131? edit by whole car I mean everywhere but the underside.
  2. And his other one: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QFTizrxPc ... re=related Insane! Fastest car there?
  3. Zep's gemini was carb turbo, ran like shit! Partly because to had the most wild N/A cam in it, but off boost it was almost undrivable. When boost came on the manifold pressure was higher than the fuel pressure and also blew fuel through the carb gaskets. I think he ended up will 200km per tank of petrol . So many small problems with it. Now with the Link and setup properly leaves my car for dust!

  9. Probably the only one who is going to say this but........ Ultra Glossy paint would look the business. Any color, just glossy 2k!
  10. My Strada was meant to be LHD when first made. So my booster is on the left side of the engine bay. The Italians just made this rod/pole to connect it to the peddles on the right. That's partly why I think the peddle doesn't feel as positive as it could be.
  11. If it feels like it has a top speed limiter check the CDI (little black box). It should only have 5 wires going in to it. if it has 6 then usually the 6th wire is the top speed limiter. Most of the time its the pink wire, pull that out and if it still starts then sweet.
  12. Buy 4 wobble nuts and a centre finder for each wheel, then you can run 4x100 wheels on a 4x101.6 hub.
  13. No doubt its shit quality, but for the amount of times I am going to use it it should be sweet. They get the nut off the end of a scooter engines crankshaft without turning the whole shaft. Such a shit job to do if you don't have an impact wrench.

  15. I can give you Jess's number if you want to talk to him about whats best. His wagon has a simularish turbo setup to yours.
  16. Paying a professional isn't too expensive. Cost me $120 to put the front and back glass back in after painting.
  17. http://www.fleetcareauto.co.nz/ They did all the rust and paint work for my car. Out by airport. Ask for Wayne. Good guy, he has a lot of time for young people like us doing paint and rust stuff. Tell him Chris with the Fiat sent you, haha.
  18. They would be rich if they also did Fiat panels
  19. PM Terry about powder coating, he should be able to sort something. memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=3075 edit: in wellington too.
  20. I got recommended to go see Chris at Centreline suspension. He custom built my mates Bilstein suspension in his 130tc (the targa one). After a ride in the 130tc I now know where I am going to get my suspension done. His shop is in Great North (could be South) Rd, same road as Red Baron Motorcycles.
  21. Yeah true, maybe there is a reason no one sells them here. The one that I am after has a cord with cilps so it can cilp on to a car battery for power. I might just have to wait for a cordless 2nd hand one on Trademe.
  22. Yeah had a look on trademe, they are pretty expensive. I will only be using it on the odd occasion, so a Dewalt one maybe a bit wasted on me. There is tonnes of smaller ones on ebay UK which are perfect, but none here.
  23. Does anyone know where to get a cheap one locally?
