  1. Doesn't look like a w40 very much but its been a while since i laid on one. Check your oil level hasn't gone up. Fuel pump could be pumping into the sump.
  2. Could have a yarn to barry/bazda on toyspeed. He sells kits and makes up adaptors. Haven't dealt with him personally but many people speak very highly of his knowledge and services.
  3. Can probably lend you the old man's one if you are in the area. whoops ironically he's using it on his austin currently.. sorry al.
  4. Ha that looks very similar to the power steering in an old clarke forklift. I've had very unpleasant experiences with trying to fix one of those. The spool was bypassing internally and it would go to hard lock left. I hope yours doesn't do that :S
  5. Are those the FPV rear brakes that you've fitted?
  6. I have nothing to add other than this is fantastic.
  7. Nolathane supply stock but finding someone who carries it seems tough. They do have a guide to machining it and as others have mentioned they recommend freezing it first. I wonder if immersing it in dry ice would be the next step?
  8. Play a few rounds of "will it compact?"
  9. Step 1. Unbolt compactor Step 2. Tie compactor to solid object Step 3. Drive. All taken place in your local refuse contractors yard (at 3am when no one is looking)
  10. What's the other end look like? Might help id
  11. Engine out in these is easy as there's no subframe. Trickiest bit is getting the car high enough to get engine out underneath
  12. That is an option, If you are not familiar with the method, there is a way you can split these boxes open without removing fifth gear to gain access to the diff. I reckon it would only take 1/2 a day to have the box out welded up and then bang it back in. Should probably get it running first haha
  13. Bugger hand cranking, if you can get a battery drill on it haha. Certainly made starting my sachs rotary easy
  14. yep I've wired a few lpg setups onto forklifts. You wrap a signal wire around one of the leads so that it only continues to run after a few seconds if it picks up a pulse from the lead firing a spark.
  15. Hey I'll be there with my old man in his Austin seven
  16. Lol they were telling me that 10 years ago when I had my supercharged mr2.
  17. I would because why wouldn't you? Bit of blutak/Plasticine on the piston with the head sat on top.
  18. Timing I think I've got photos on my old iphone. New key and it was beaut
  19. Does it try yank you back and punch the bike when it fires as you pull? that's what my mates lawnmower did to me when it had eaten it's woodruff key and moved around 5°.
