  1. Good shit, stoked to see it running properly. Be down for a ride in due course
  2. Hakos are awesome, be good to see it in the flesh eventually. What's the going rate for them these days?
  3. The cardboard rubbing template is such a brilliant idea for the odd shaped holes/awkward spots, will definitely use it in the future
  4. By engine swap, I'll go ahead and assume you're going 13B PP. Good good
  5. NaN. Will leave Zac's thread in peace
  6. No, I specifically didn't replace any sensors so I could lose lots of money
  7. Not easily no. Definitely correct orientation, and flow rate
  8. I had the injectors tested, they were in perfect shape
  9. The fault codes there (with the exception of the TPS ones) won't cause the issues it's having, they're purely boost control codes. I am a little concerned about the lack of MAP sensor code, though if you've not driven it yet that makes sense. That MAP sensor tested out of spec, and was replaced by a good one which tested up fine...which I then had to give back when I sold it
  10. The latter two are for turbo control, interesting. No map sensor fault though, which is also interesting, as its the original one which threw up a code
  11. Subscribing to this thread. Would love to build something like this for a 1/8 787B replica
  12. Taller tyre will help. Ride height is good, but dat gap. 185/60 no good? Really needs to be laden to nail it properly though!
  13. They do similar when TVIS opens, maybe its just a weird intake resonance thing?
  14. We sell similar kind of things for seatbelt anchor points at work, there are various sizes and configurations. Mostly commonly sold plate is I think 80x40 with a single nut welded in the centre
  15. Dammit, how do you get such nice square cuts out of panels? I seem to have an uncanny knack of making them wavy every. fucking. time.
  16. Looks good as is. Too small a wheel FTL
  17. I'm likely up to fuck all Sunday, will be up for lunch/yarns at some stage
  18. GPS trackers will show last location at least, so if they take it to an underground garage/lead lined shed you'll have a pretty good idea of where it is
  19. Thanks man...I finally have it back at my house now, so progress will happen!
  20. There is someone out Seaview way who does polishing, will try find their details tomorrow
  21. That sucks man, damn RX-8s! Shame about the motor too, would have thought the NA motors would have been less intolerant of a hard time though. Fingers crossed your housings are still mint
  22. Heard a rumour today that the plain cylindrical mounts (like the universal/cortina type ones) will not be ok for cert unless encapsulated? Hoping this isn't true!
  23. P76 V8 would be the perfect repower for this, both for period correctness and yuckness
