  1. Nah was more meaning little wheels for 5th gear rolling burnout abilities, the 17's actually look ok. What size rotors does it run? Might struggle to get anything less than 16's on it
  2. Dope, this car is lush. Please fit 14" wheels and wilwoods for max lols
  3. Been years since I removed mine, but it may have a retaining ring behind it, similar to the lighter. The knob is bonded to the cable, so you have to take it off at the carb to pull the lot out
  4. Pop out that blanking panel, I think thre's a screw behind there. Also that screw basically above the blanking panel needs to come out to remove that facia. I take it you've removed the screw between the choke and the lighter?
  5. Olds Cool in Palmy will have a new loom, it'll be much quicker than trying to repair the old one
  6. Ah sweet - was just trying to work out how it actually held in there!
  7. Have I got the deal for you... Ed,got any pics of how this mounts on the inside of the C pillar?
  8. Bastard, hope you used the appropriate level of curse words. Can it be repaired?
  9. NZ new 4AGE's didn't run an o2 sensor from memory, but the import ones have it in the manifold, most likely where your blanking plate is
  10. It's doable with a big enough press, but whether its safe afterwards is a different story. I bent one of the front fork on a motox bike many years ago, and took it to an engineering crow to straighten. Bit different being an upside down shock, I guess, but theory must be the same.
  11. 3.5 months is nothing, jump in and go. Assuming it's been run in since the rebuild!
  12. Basically anything pre 92 is a hard WOF, post 92 is where they start stripping stuff out. I had a friend who bought an 86 GA70, and found it was fairly well riddled with rust. Ended up buying a deregistered 91 GA70 shell, swapping everything over and taking it for a revin. I told him to do brakes etc beforehand, and it flew through within a day, easy as.
  13. Holy shit, awesome stuff Zac...guess you could accidentally use the FD as a base for a super car...I'm sure you can twist his arm to make 26B's
  14. Avalon park has a bike track for the kids, maybe take him there later in the evening when there are few people around and he'll have a ball. There's also a mini velodrome by on Harcourt Werry Drive by Percy Cameron St, could be good for a laugh
  15. Probably quite a shit to get around compound curves nicely though? Quite looking forward to seeing them gunmetal against the red
  16. I just used the CRC repocut stuff, works really well for cleaning up plastic trim
  17. One thing with the ash tray - I found quite a few trim bits in the KE70s were actually black under the brown, a light cutting compound took them back. I guess its cheaper/easier to mold the ashtray in black, then paint to suit vs tool up for make them in all the various trim colours they had.
  18. Thanks man, will give the guy a call and see what I can arrange...Snoozin has also kindly offered his help later in the week
  19. I maaaaaay be purchasing an RX-7 (if all planets align), downfall is its in Tauranga and is a rolling body. The main thing I am interested in is making sure its not full of bog - its had a fresh respray in gloss black, so hopefully it helps show up any flaws. Happy to buy a box for someones time. Let me know! Brad
  20. Fuck you're a machine! Are you gonna track down another heater for it?
  21. Love wooden outdoor furniture, and homebuilt > store bought. Also shit what a view!
