  1. Sketchy tow? Great job on the leveling, don't suppose they want to come do my 6200sq? Also, I'm not understanding the milling comment
  2. Tell you the truth I'm not sure, but I don't play with injector pumps, I let the experts do that.
  3. No! Don't touch those screws To bring fuel up to the filter (when fitting a new filter or run out of fuel) loosen the 'out' banjo bolt on the filter housing. And pump the primer until fuel flows from the loosened banjo. Tighten banjo. Pump a few more times until the plunger gets stiffer. And If you have run it out of fuel, after you get it to the filter, loosen the injector pipe fittings to the top of the injectors. Crank engine with foot down until fuel starts coming out around the loosened fittings. Tighten fittings. Should start then.
  4. I've seen a couple of the plunger parts blow out of the top because they haven't been reseated, diesel everywhere. Get a picture of the top of the fuel filter housing too
  5. On the subject of bleeding the fuel, did he show you how/where to let the air out?
  6. Is it like the top one? It's possible it's letting a little air in/ not holding system pressure when shut off. Replace it with the bottom one, they're cheaper than the top one and better. @Hemi
  7. Can you turn the pipe around so it's at the filter end?
  8. Sorry, I think you misunderstand. I was only stating why wheel alignment places have them (for front beam axles with leaf springs)
  9. I would think wheel alignment places would have tapered shims For front axle caster correction
  10. Would 3 link give better clearance? I know it's more limited than your 4 link, not to mention the side swing. But it must free up more space around the axle? I don't know it just popped into my head Look forward to updates as always

    Whats the diff?

ABS pickup isn't it? Probably a pole wheel in the back of the rotor/hub
  12. Gross laden weight (Vehicle plus full load)
  13. Ok now I'm going back to universals
  14. Unbolt the drive shaft from the diffaand just tie it up out of the way. When are you swapping the springs?
  15. #1 valves on rock? Thats not #1 firing tdc, thats #6 going by the firing order
  16. Free board at the pedal pushrod should be about 1-2mm. Same for the booster pushrod. Leave a bar wedged on the pedal pushing it hard down over night
  17. My old man has a kill switch in plain view on the dash with "spotlights" written on it. /ling
  18. Also, sagged springs compared to higher springs may change the angle of the diff.
  19. It's gotta be something in your springs m8 No vibration before change, vibration after. Is the distance from the front spring eye to the centre bolt on both sets of springs the same?
  20. Diffs are a black art, even mechanics get it wrong some times.
