Does it have an intercooler? Having a decent one will lower egt/make more power

It needs to be before the turbo, ideally in the collector and make sure the probe is actually in the flow

If you want black plates you can find a set that have gone out of the system and buy that number as a personal plate and then just fit the black ones

If you want the original number you will have to buy the original number as a personalised plate and will have to re register car and then put your personal plate on it

I have a discovery 2 that I'm doing an engine swap on, can I remove the airbags and abs from it then get it certified?

They are called coach bolts, any bolt supplier should have them, though not sure about chrome, would stainless do?

If it had a k04 it would have had the injectors changed as well. A k04 can do 250hp, hybrid k04 280

Usually the list of mods for the 1.8t are: Down pipe Diverter valve Turbo intake pipe Air filter Remap Running 20psi is pushing that little k03 pretty hard and with a standard down pipe and cat it's probably getting pretty hot. Should be about 200-210hp with the above mods done

If it's boosting 21psi then it's been remapped. Will definitely need the down pipe and turbo intake hose upgraded

My brother had a manual 3.1 bighorn, went pretty good after a new exhaust, boost and fuel increase, had a set of 32" tyres on it and it went well off road. Quick look on trade me and theres a couple on there for around $3k

It just looks like an old engine thats has some shitty silver paint sprayed on it and claiming its been rebuilt
