Popular Post Kimjon Posted October 30, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 30, 2023 I've been lusting after a go-fast boat for some time now. This popped up for sale, so I sold anything I could that was a double up or I wasn't emotionally atrached to, in order to raise money to buy it. It was a bit rough around the edges cosmetically, but structurally it was in amazing condition. Its an American made boat manufactured by Excalibur, with a solid fiberglass (catamaran) hull. I've tidied it up quite a lot - taking a week off work and doing 7x 12hr days on it, putting work into making it presentable. Its now the right amount of rough, where I won't cry if my kids scratch it getting in/out, but overall it looks badass. Bring on summer!! And finally, "52" racing decals added to complete the look. 11 1 Quote

nzstato Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Cool, love a nostalgic ski boat. Very similar to the 'stingray' made by CBS in the early nineties (they likely adapted this design), there is one which is always up at Wanaka when we do our annual camp 1 Quote

keltik Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Can't beat a day at the lake with you, your kids and your Johnson. As a staunch 4stroke advocate, it's hard for me to approve. But the boat to motor ratio makes it ok. 1 Quote
