Sorry for the slow reply.   I am happy as to do the little pig over a fire Maybe make some damper for the kids to cook over coals. (this is awesome with golden syrup over it)  I hope to get a couple of bunnies before then to do a stew as well. If not I will dig a wee trout out of the freezer and we can wrap it in wet newspaper and cook it.  Kids can wrap spuds and/ or bananas in foil to cook in the fire as well.  I will ensure there is enough meat for dinner. How is that? However if you want to eat your own food thats cool. I am not trying to take over food. I just enjoy cooking for friends and sharing food.  I will being some untreated pine/ macro for the cooking fire as well as some charcoal.  If I am being OTT just tell me to chill the fuck down.  Also I get this meat for free/ next to free so if it helps bring costs down it is good.  MOF is old mate OK with me bringing my .22? Or should I just bring the silenced one?  Sorry i think faster than I type  Does anyone else want to chip in anything for a communal cook? eg a bag of spuds or a pack of eggs or a pack of bacon some fruit etc  Just thinking if you are keen, add it on here:  Or if you need a bit of gear for you or one of your kids. So what about pot luck type thing, you bring the meat and we bring the other stuff? Need sour cream and cheese for the spuds. .22 would be ok, if it's ok with other people. Would have to be out in the riverbed (plenty of scrub out there) but not on the farm. I haven't seen much around there though, maybe we're a bit noisy. (mind you, saw 4 deer in the riverbed mid morning once) Also, +1 for anyone needing anything, I'm probably taking the big tent, so I'll have 2x spare.
