M Night Shamalayan
Can you see from thet outside of he bag if the slave is moving? I'm not sure what you mean, my friend
AllTorque
I went and had a quick look today. Slave cylinder is moving the fork. It doesn't move heaps but the slave is short so it's probably far enough. The clutch isn't releasing so it looks like it has stuck but I wouldn't think it would do that after a month in a shed. As discussed, go for a drive up the street with your foot on the clutch, on and off the gas and see what happens.
M Night Shamalayan
And you would think that because the fork is moving it should take SOME of the grip off the flywheel when I'm turning the key when car is in gear, but it's like it's locked right on. AllTorque
One thing I noticed was the slave cylinder had been moved out with a couple of washers to give it a bit more throw. If anything this should make it release sooner. FYI, I know SFA about hillmans.
M Night Shamalayan
Yeah might try take it for an actual drive in second gear then
M Night Shamalayan
Could the washers mean that it's throwing it too far with added pressure of a master and slave that doesn't leak
AllTorque
I don't think so.

M Night Shamalayan
http://mgaguru.com/mgtech/clutch/ct_104.htm ". It is also aggravated by humidity and condensation, especially when the car is stored in an unheated garage subject to large temperature changes in a humid environment" This basically describes my house. We get full all day sun but the garage leaks on the back wall... I'll try this method
