pbaines
Best part of the trip was sorting out some primo cream door cards for my KE20 (for me anyway) which I thought was quite funny considering the state of that and every car you'd think the interior would have rotted away Many treasures to be found at wilfs, was so awesome to rummage through there. there's a car somewhere under there, I never even found out what the old girl was
datman13b
Got the feeling we were the black sheep yesterday !Got ditched at the start (had to buckle my 2yo in to her seat )thought never mind they stopping at windmills well catch them there(no one there)never mind surely they'll wait for us on the other side (nope didn't happen) so we carried on anyway to arrive at pongas pud 45min before everyone else? Then no one talked to us so we left ,lucky the weather was primo other wise it would of been a really crap day . Don't think well attend anymore oldschool event sence there may b a bad stigma towards inbreed car conversion ,not the first oldschool event were we've got that vibe. CaMpylobacter
no way man! I'm the worst socialiser/new people meeter type and sadly my organisation skills left a little to be desired yesterday. As the organiser of the cruise I should've made more efforts to chat with everybody that came along. I appreciate you guys attending for sure though and your car really is grouse - definitely no sour feeling towards you or your whip at all! On the topic of my shortcomings in organisation - I probably should've put a proper route up before the day and we carried on past the windfarm. We hadn't set the stop there in stone but I should probably have at least regrouped there. From the saddle we backtracked to Ballance road. Again, I should've let everyone know we were going to do that. As you said the group broke up and didn't really catch up again for a bit. Once we got to the pongaroa road we stopped for a few minutes to collect the wellington guys whom were only a few minutes away by that stage. I haven't really jacked anything like this up in the past and I'm not known to be the most organised kind of joker in general so please bare with me!Next cruise will definitely be a little better sorted Sorry if you got a bad experience on the day .

Mourning Cupcake
Nobody cares about what you've done to your car (Well, maybe, but not enough to be a cunt to you about it). I didn't see you trying to socialise with the rest of us TBH. Goes both ways. I just thought you were some randoms there. I am sorry you feel that way. Coz these guys are an awesome bunch of people.
CaMpylobacter
Briefing before we left ashhurst would have been the go definitely agree! I guess sometimes we forget that there's new people coming along and just assume that everyone knows the general gist of how a meet goes down. Again, apologies on this front, and definitely give us another try next time!
