Been a few years since last post! Around 18mnths ago I rolled car multi times at a manfeild back track day which also caused a fire in the boot ,was second to last corner of the day pushing car to its limits on a cone shicane in middle of straight ,it was like I high sided it coming out of shicane and with rally tyres and setup on( was on way to gravel event when got rained out) everything happens so fast and being at far end of track no video footage or pics to knw what actually happend . 18months on and the good buggers at viper classics ( brother and father in laws biz) have bought the Datsun back from defeat along with a few mods . Biggest is that the engine has been moved rearwards 4inchs also gone to rack and pinion steering and boosted brakes ,car also has had a roof and front cut n paste done on it .

long time since last post only been one re build lol , rookie didnt get rotating assembly balanced after replacing a rotor. Did some testing over the weekend on the farm track, recently got a new sony action camrea with gps mode and been trying a few settings on my new bilsteins ive put in the rear, sweet upgrades allround heres a lap in a bit from the weekend with the gps data

Yeah I gave it a go talked to couple of gc at the gravel pit and the two dudes who turned up early to the pub as well ,jst the snobs the didn't wait for us at the start of the convoy that got me pissed,I don't give a fuck if u don't like my car jst 1st though that was y everyone ditch us ,so il jst put it down to poor organiser then . No big deal jst though you might wanna improve your events with some feed back

Got the feeling we were the black sheep yesterday !Got ditched at the start (had to buckle my 2yo in to her seat )thought never mind they stopping at windmills well catch them there(no one there)never mind surely they'll wait for us on the other side (nope didn't happen) so we carried on anyway to arrive at pongas pud 45min before everyone else? Then no one talked to us so we left ,lucky the weather was primo other wise it would of been a really crap day . Don't think well attend anymore oldschool event sence there may b a bad stigma towards inbreed car conversion ,not the first oldschool event were we've got that vibe.

Rebuild time , had spun a rotor bearing and broke a corner seal I got my r5 side plates skimed n cnc bridge ported ,replaced one rotor and all bearings that came with my master rebuild kit from Atkins rotary Also have put a deposit down at Mazda on what they said is there last pair of pre 85 housings ,I didn't need them nor am I using them in this build just thought I'm gonna need them next time around and what a sweet Christmas present to myself they will make

Hillclimb I did in weekend jst gone Was knocking off 10 sec off each run did 4 this being run 4 also tapped a wall at some stage only notice damage when I saw a few guys all huddled around the rear quarter of my car il post a pic one day find it a mission to upload pics on here
