I did a Crude body drop on my mates hunter 10 years ago we cut the entire floor pan out and lowered the body then welded it back up it was huge amount of work but hey we were young and it looked choice. it got around for a few months but ended up at the scrappers.

Max size for blocks is 2" and you'll never get a cert with cutties.

You will need to get the leafs reset to go that low, I would suggest getting them reset around 2" or similar then adjusting the height with blocks. Similarly you'll either need to get the springs compressed or get some shorter replacements. You'll probably also need shorter shocks to keep springs captive. If the car isn't lower then 100mm (or close enough) and the lowering is done properly you won't need a cert.

Really depends on your taste easy to lower get a set of dobi superlows they are just captive on standard shocks and reset leaves with 1inch blocks has mine siting level ideally you will be looking for some sidedrafts or be thinking of a motor swap as the 1725s are not speed demons standard diff can take a beating nice wheels can be a hassel if you want a modurn style being 4x108 stud pattern but moddgies or tridents or turbos suit them great in my opinion I would t go over 14inch wheels any bigger ruins the lines or them got a mate with a sr20det hunter great I. A straight line ducking scary around corners/under breaks they do t need huge hp to be fun

Cheers guys, yous are all a lot of help, but what would be the best way to lower it like the cream coloured hunter, which is my inspiration?

i use imgur, i do it on the computer, much easier. But you just upload the picture you want, then drag it onto your post, try that :)

Leaks are a tricky one, first need to take the trim off and get it nice and dry then try to establish where it is leaking from. It may be the window seal or door seal or worst case rust.

You mentioned new carpets in your first post, autodec are the company to use.

Looks cool dude, reminds me of my first car which was a cream coloured escort.
