Hey guys just dropped a new motor in my ke20 2tgeu 1600 dohc as the old one blew up now iv gone to start it and it's hard to start and blowing heaps of black smoke when it's runing any ideas on what may be causing it it won't rev at all ether ?

Are the standard 3t pistons thick enough to be fly cut I was led to belive they are to thin and like to crack

What's the best method bug blob of bluetack?

Yea they seem to have a way deeper cutout than standard 2tg and 3tb pistons spoke I will just have to try and check clearances

Hey guys half way trew building g a 2tg 3t hybrid just not shore what pistions to use have searched the net but on flicking Info iv got complete 2tg and 3tb motors so just need to know if I can use the 2tg pistions on the 3tb rods or will I need to get the 3tb pistions fly cut to suit the 2tg head? Also are the standard 2tgeu injectors still alright tk be used or will I need to go bigger?

Hey guys just got a Volvo 360 just wondering g if anyone knows what my options are for turboing it its the 2l Efi model just wondering if any other exhaust manis fit maybe off later model turbo 940 etc etc any help is much appreciated

Yea fuel pump is mint it will big down if I push the flap to much it will stall out

Yea can slowly move afm flap with trottel and it will rev a bit more fuel pressure reg is allgood but dose fluctuate at idle th wiring is dodgy as fuck but every thing is geting back to ecu if you get what I mean will have a look at the tps and see if it is worn I have tryed a spare tps but there was no difference at all realy do t have that much time to play with it every thing is half done but I want to get it runing properly before I tidy everything up

Ok so got it runing now fires up first pop idels all over the show tho and won't rev no difference with afm plugged in or unplugged guessing that's th issue

You will with 3inch blocks but 2inch is ok just get the leaves reset better ride that way

Fuel pump is wired onto a switch on dash defiantly pumping fuel will Cheak pressure at rail with gauge but can hear it glowing trew rail will also try a diffrent pressure regulator

Ill cheack that out tonight could be the issue I believe there is 12v at tps its all factory gear

Yea Shure will will also keep runing alltho like an over fueling pos if I earth out injectors and pulse manually have tried replacing all engine/batter/ecu earths tried 3 diffrent Ecus 3 diffrent injector resistors brand new coil as ecu only controls fuel and dizzy / coil supply engine speed ect to ecu is good power at ecu plugs coils read 12v on both sides of plug also tried 3 diffrent sets of injectors all been back flushed/cleaned and tested to open and not leak

Hey guys after a little bit of advice of where to start trouble shoting have just droped a new 2tgeu Into my hunter and wireded it up according to wiring diagram the trouble is when I crank the starter it will fire up but only run for a few seconds then back fire threw intake not a timing issue its a fuel issue I think I'm pretty Shure the injectors are not pulsing runs with ether sprayed down Intake dose same ring with afm plugged in or not starting to get harased by the Inlaws for it being in there shead was only ment to be there over Easter weekend lol it has spark good fuel pressure and I'm stumped is there anyone in the know with 2tgs wiring any help would be much apreciated

So front seats need head rests and need to remove rear seat would that pass at vtnz?

What do I need to get a car with half cage a new wof no cert on car but cage is holomgated what steps will I need to take to get a wof?

It's just wired onto a switch no relays so just bridge a wire from the output side of the switch to wiring harness with a fuse in between say 15amp?
