I quite like these Exa's in a "jesus that's ugly but so 80's it hurts" sorta way. Keep at it, look forward to seeing the finished product... but keep those vents if you can, that's a bit of an iconic 80's quirk right there and in my view ought to be retained

I do love these quirky '80's nissans.

cant remember the last time I saw one.

im with snoozing too, leave the vents there, they help make it what it is, awesome!

I'll have a think about the front vents and see what dad recons.

This is my second one also my mates has one sitting in his garage.

Also got some advan a3as im keen to put on it.

Oh my the N12 EXAs are yuck.

In a cool way.

I saw a matt black one in Christchurch today actually.

D plates seem to grant you a reasonable amount of immunity from police observation, as long as you're not being a tool. I drove both the Rx-7 and squid countless times between Auckland and Hamilton and all around the place on D plates and never once had any dramas.

+1 to keeping the vents. They give it some '80s character.

Has anybody got any ideas what i should do with the spoiler. I kinda need some thing with a bit of downforce, as u can see its not the most aerodynamically shaped car nissan ever made. It gets a bit floaty at speed in the rear and also booting it around corners. i just dont wanna put a huge aerofoil on it and make it look like a shopping trolley.
