Hi im looking at fuel injecting my datsun 120y. Ive found a build up online, its wiki tech. Im just struggling to understand we i should go to get a mega squirt v2 from. im trying to keep cost down and plan to use the diy kit. Would something like ebay be the best place to go to find this?

Its been a while and unfortunately not a lot to report. Dads still struggling getting the bumper to mount perfectly, in a way this it doesn't distort the steel. Non the less here are a few pictures of it mounted to the rear of the car. Love that ass.

That Torana was pritty rough. Looked ok but when u went up close it was really wavey down the sides. Only noticed cause i was sitting with the Zclub all day long.

Well its been a while since ive put up any updates, probably because not much has happened since last update. Anyway a few pics:

Small update, works progressing on rear bumper.

I was trying to find a picture of the original rear bumper for comparison this was all i could find unfortunately. The new steel bumpers are fairly similar but don't have all the swages and etc in them, Im loving it.

Work on rear bumper is continuing. 1 corner nearly complete, looking amazing. I better start working on a rear defusor, before dad gets to far. With the bumpers. Any suggestions on were i should put the number plate? I was thinking in the middle of the rear bumper as long as it doesn't clash with the defusor.

Work on the end caps on the bumper underway. Its a lot of work playing round with the steel, Plenty of noise.

Work has continued. Rear filler panel is all made and mounted now just need to figure out a way to move the fuel flap latch. also the main part of the bumper has been mounted to car. We need to mount this so we can start sculpting the sides of the bumper. Also have made the decision to move the number plate to the back bumper. Any ways a few pics.

Also started folding up the rear bumper, Dad was talking about using it as a mold and making some fiberglass bumpers with them depending on how they turn out.

Work has continued with the rear of the car. Fuel filler has been refitted to rear panel: Little bit of rust work going on Managed to get rear spoiler of, need to figure out a way to strip it and repaint it with flexi paint. Any ideas???

Sure is. Oldschool panel beater. Hes gota folder and english wheel in the garage. He keeps telling me that he wants a anvil.

Well its been a while since i updated this. Work has been progressing slowly. Most of the drivers side of the car has been completed plus a few rust holes in roof repaired. Also the drivers side rear quater window has been made. Dad tells me i need to come start preping for paint while he dose the bumpers. Oh also the fuel flap is being removed atm. Anyways photos:

What you guys think of me deleting the drivers side window wiper and just having 1 do the hole window?

Wow new page. dads been busy last few nights, prob cause he heading to beach hop this weekend, and ill still be busy building his deck, or he just wants to finish all the body work. Fill panel just needs a bot of filling. The old man said he did a bit on it tonight as well, haven't got any pics from him yet tho.

Little more progress today. Dad did some shrinking on the guard after welding up the indicator holes. Grinding back some of the rust, around the windscreen. Its a bot of a pain in the ass. Prob happened at some stage when windscreen got replaced. Then we decided to do some modification to the vents. Before: After: Just gotta weld it in next week. I was wondering whats the legality's behind windscreen wipers. Could i weld of the drivers side and only have 1 doing the whole windscreen? Will take a bit of custom work, but to be honest i don't think ill drive this car in the rain once its done. Ill probably be to precious.

i know you've already organised a crane and all. It also might have been said, could you back the truck with container down drive, and then get house repilers to lift it of trailer and lower it down on to your brackets, or is the drive way to hard for the truck to reverse down.

I keep seeing your avatar and think there s another e15et lover on this forum, im not the only one.

bonnet filled and primed Started repairing drivers side gaurd today. And back on car waiting to be bogged up. Dads gotta shrink some of the metal around the indicator, apparently metal is really thin and is making it really hard to weld.
