kyteler
I know, right? Would have been super cool to see the Benetton car out fanging but if they can't even start it properly I can't imagine they'd keep it on the track too well. Spencer
Yea who let these noobs have the car? sounds pretty stupid, surely they would know that a modern/semi modern F1 engine will have some kind of start up procedure to follow? mikuni
It probably would have been like an NZFMR F1 display where they run the car at half throttle and with a couple of F5000 cars that drown it out anyway. I shouldn't complain though, still a great site to see an old F1 car out on track even if it isn't at full song.
kyteler
The only F5000 there was the Begg, I'm fairly certain it was supposed to have the track to itself.

danger
According to the old boy it was a coil, not the plugs but who knows
kyteler
Oh right, bung coil would be an impossible problem to solve in central otago on a weekend.
Snoozin
Just slap a GT40R on it, no problems.

I don't even like aston martins, but that thing there really tweaked my nipples.

kyteler
Yeah man, that's the sucker. George Begg: http://www.angelfire.com/retro/begg/georgecars.htm Car designed by George Begg and built by Begg Engineering a manufacturer principally of agricultural equipment in Southland, New Zealand. Another crazy Southland cat though not quite as famous as Mr. B. Munro. I took this shot at the Opening Fest. at Highlands Did you take any snaps?

durty
A bit weird for one to be a D and the other to be a G? That's a decent size difference
