Mitch.W
ohhh fuck yeah man! those back wheels are perfect!! i recon you could camber the fronts in a bit an not hack the guard up too much?
be4ver
yeah negative camber plus narrow tyres should do the trick to fit them on the front! They are just for the back for now though. 8s will go up front. one day id like to go to 10 or 11j in the back with the 9 up front. That would rock my socks! ANT
Looking good man. Are they steel outers that have been chromed? I think that rear ride height is perfect.
be4ver
Nah they are the proper 60-61 alloy outers. I wouldnt recommend the chromed steel ones. With the car sitting for a couple weeks they start getting rust spots on from water sitting on them.
Mitch.W
shit man you are making this thing nice!!! Please rock a nice set of headers and twin 1.5inch stainless pipes...no mufflers. you deserve a firm handshake my friend.
ANT
so glad i made those adjustables for laying frame. even more happy that they found there way into a good car. cars perfect imo. throw some spacers and camber at the front for the time being. people don't realise just how low you need to go to make 14's look sweet on gx.
be4ver
yeah im pretty dam happy with the car at the moment. Bit disappointed the 8s don't fill the front guards out as much as i had hoped, BUT all the more reason to widen them to 10 or 11 now
Mitch.W
that looks sweeeeeet, how high/low is the chassis on those pics?
ANT
70mm. what's in the rear ssuspension wise?
be4ver
yeah 70mm, lower in other parts. exhaust is about 50mm back just has some random springs i had, no idea what they are out of but they get it that low and stayed captive with the standard shocks. They are soft as hell though.
chees-
stayed captive with the standard shocks. fucking lol. standard shocks are huge and its these things aren't exactly light, must get some sweet roll going on.
be4ver
yeah its pretty sweet! all good if a keep an extra spare wheel in the boot lol. what does everyone else use in the back?
chees-
yeah its pretty sweet! all good if a keep an extra spare wheel in the boot lol. what does everyone else use in the back? i'm running sierra wagon springs but they don't feel right, neither do anything else i've tried. shocks are the bigger issue, nothings rated high enough in the right length. running short 86 gonna chase some damper adjustable ones next. sierra wagon and short 86 shocks will work sweet for you. be4ver
i have thought air shocks would be pretty sweet but i dont know if any even exist that would/could fit
Mitch.W
ordering adjustable suspension off yahoo sooon damnn that looks sooo low in the pics but is quite high!!
Berjjj
Dunno man, doesn't look quite right. Needs a filler panel above or some way of tieing it into the rest of the front valence, just my opinion though.
be4ver
I'm looking for opinions I'm very much on the fence about it. Was just a random spoiler i came across at the wreckers and thought id try out
