beachlander
I say you should paint the wheels different colours. Bright pink, bright blue etc
DB8-TypeR
What are the coilover sleeves for if you bought lowering springs?
DB8-TypeR
so he can raise the car to legal height for wofs after he has cut his superlows in half But then you need a cert so you may as well get it certed at the height you want it? Aaron
Ha. I've got 2 sets of standard springs and shocks for WoF's Basically I wanted coilovers for if I get a cert, and lowering springs for whatevz. But I only have a front set of lowering springs. DB8-TypeR
Ahhhhh gotcha. Makes sense. If I were to do mine again I wouldnt bother with coilover sleeves. I would have just gone out and got some BC Golds for EF hatch. I spent so much time re making my suspension to get it low enough. And even then I wasnt happy with it
mikuni
I spent so much time re making my suspension to get it low enough. And even then I wasnt happy with it Should have just committed way too hard and then tried to dig your way out of it. Nothing like starting at the bottom and working your way up/not at all. Aaron
*Soz, pics don't like rotating* Alrighty, I picked the sleeves up last night. They must have been in the shed for a while cause they were covered in cobwebs and shit. So I took them apart and gave them a clean with some Meth's, then put them back together. Might respray the springs, looks like they used to be red. So I will hopefully get the fronts installed before the weekend, and the rears fitted on the weekend. DB8-TypeR
You will probably need keeper springs for the rear, possibly the front depending on the length of the springs
Aaron
I have lined them up next to the struts, and the springs aren't long enough with the perch at the bottom, but if I wind it up a bit they should captive.
DB8-TypeR
Then I dont think it will be very low Depends what struts you use but with my EF hatch ones without keeper springs it was about the same height as stock when captive
Aaron
I'm going to chuck them in the blue ones I got. Guess I will find out soon. Also I got lowering springs on the way so hopefully they should lower it :/
flyingbrick
get shortened shocks man. you can't have low firm springs that are also captive on long shocks
