Hachi-ichi
I use a collision repairer as my "body shop", e.g removing the fender mirrors and sealing the holes. Also getting the license plate relocated to the lower rear bumper.
chees-
have you thought about lights for your plate? i have a feeling they have to be factory for wof?(make sure the plate is removable?)
Hachi-ichi
yeah have thought about that.
dylann
I'm at least 3% sure that the lights don't need to be factory issue, my mx5 has a modified mr2 license plate light because i relocated it to the bumper and it has passed a wof a few times now. Â As long as the plate is sufficiently illuminated I wouldn't see what the problem is?
Hachi-ichi
Does the light's function have to be able to be controlled from inside the car? Im thinkin something a little cheaper than a built in light.
be4ver
you can use any piece of shit light to light up your number plate as long as it turns off and on with your lights, its white light and doesn't shine backwards
dylann
Not too sure sorry, i just extended the wires from the original plate lights down to the new lights so they flicked on with the headlights etc. Â You can buy number plate bolts with LED's in them, could be a go? Hachi-ichi
a black steel plate is going there, BUT that tail light idea is very good. Chaser/Cresta spec.

Hachi-ichi
chur, mind if I buy it? I may do something with it, like take it apart, get rid of the "CHASER" badge, and trim it to fit.
