NicT
Sup boys and girls. So out of the piles of crap between me and a friend of mine we have 1 3k, 1 4 speed k series gearbox, some carbs and shit. And now we may have lined up a ride on lawn mower frame. Now my question is, wtf are would we do about the diff in it if we were as retarded to stick all the peices together? Brock-Lee
Shorten the cheapest diff you can find. Cut and weld axles and housing.
NicT
Shorten the cheapest diff you can find. Cut and weld axles and housing. Yea was thinking that. I had a look at that single rotor ride on again and that thing is running a car diff of some sort.
Steelies
yeh, beats trying to adapt the rideon gear or going chain drive
Hemi
just use my method use the largest and strongest hose you can find for unijoints . works and has a torque limiting feature. *warning this could end up with the steel reinforcing coming out of the hose and making a beeline for the next closest part with the greatest rotational difference in the vicinity/ your boardshort and or nuts *
Mike-e
widen the chassis, take off the backing plate and mount flywheel directly to floor for least parasitic losses. one wheel drive max torque max horsepower and zero applied to the ground, badass

BlownCorona
surely you wouldnt even need an lsd to get both wheels going on something so light? or wil it work the other way around and because its so light, never get both wheels going?
