Meet 8.30am at Pineacres carpark - can be seen from the motorway http://maps.yellow.co.nz/#p=bus&what=pi ... i&offset=1 Cruise through the inland route to kaikoura - through waiau, where hopefully Alex & Co can join us from the northern side of kaikoura.. Stops at, as Bart put it, a choice dairy that does monster icecreams, and a pub. Probably some other deviations on the way. Ending up meeting in Kaikoura before heading for lunch... No Tagalongs in your A-typical Flatpeaker vehicles... If you need to know what we mean, PM Leppa or myself. Could just about fit your whole car in the boot so your dive gear won't be a problem. Are you sure you will make it to the water? It sounds like it might be a big day already. dirty_leppa Posted August 8, 2011 Share Posted August 8, 2011 the way me and chris looked at it bart, the last time we went there we left at 10am. by the time we got there, had a burn round the track, lunch, then another burn and the trip back, it was like 530pm by the time we got to chch. if we leave earleir we can take our time with things. and maybe find a sweet road up there to drive. this way we have the whole day to enjoy, and not get back to chch too late Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
