Yeah, likely a lot less room up the front of an Imp compared to a Skoda Estelle but they survived fine without louvers or slots.

That has given me a idea for a heater for the Minx as I have lost the heater mount space by moving the Honda engine back as far as possible.

Though I was hoping he was doing a high hp Turbo front wheel drive conversion

Correct. 

Installing the front mounted radiator with twin thermo fans and a davies craig water pump which deletes the thermostat. I have to convert to an alternator at the same time however to keep up with the new power demands.
