  1. Yep, made by McLeod Clutches in Texas, USA The first couple minutes of this link will show you how these work and fully adjustable http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW_QHZM0qN8 Possibly source ex-Ebay? Or from the manufacturer, these can be had with or without the master cylinder http://www.mcleodracing.com/categories/Hydraulics.mcl Lots of discussion on USA forums as this is a fairly common setup, LS-1 Forums, Corvette, etc. GW
  2. Any shops that can recalibrate a cable- drive speedo? I have replaced a Borgwarner 35 Auto with a Toyota 5 speed and the ratios are wrong: easiest way is to pop the speedo out of the dash and have the gearing changed: used to be a specialist in Oz, but he is retired now, another shop in South Island but I have lost their address... any help appreciated!

  11. Prince was its own independent company before the mid-60's Nissan takeover; this wasn't popular in Japan with Prince dealers, who considered their cars much superior to Nissans, there are still older Nissan dealerships that signpost themselves "Prince" in Japan "Prince" had that name because members of the Japanese royal family owned Prince cars The "Prince" name was so well regarded in Oz and NZ, that later cars like the Gloria were badged as Princes years after the Japanese domestic models had changed over to Nissan badging I saw a Station wagon version of your car for sale in Auckland around 1993, 2-tone blue, it was a gem Probably the rarest car on this forum..... GW
  12. Picture's not my car, but very similar Cylinder heads ( SD-1 Vitesse ) ready to go on a 3.9 Discovery block Hardened valve seats mean using unleaded gas ( or LPG ) are OK All the injection stuff has gone + replaced by Carbs OK, will take a while but I'll post progress as it happens Thanks to all who have posted! GW
  13. Thanks, good advice! Trying to avoid the Rover 5 speed as these are just too uncommon + prices on Trademe show that people do pay up large for these Expect the driveshaft will need to be modified then balanced; getting the speedo to work accurately wll probably be the biggest challenge after the pedal box Cars a dailly driver Best GW
