nismo.capri
260fps is fast? Did you mean 360fpsA stock sr20ve port is 250-260fps and it is HUUUUGE I swear you could nearly fist the fucker (OK slight exageration but its pretty big!) I've heard most most porters aim for 300 minimum 340 max. Thats for 4v stuff. Are there different rules for 2v? To be honest I didn't write it down so more than likely I could be wrong with the actual number. It could be that this was on a superflow 110 at it's native pressure drop (I think 10") not correct to 28" of vacuum which could be the difference also? Max knows his bench and he said it was faster than he'd like for a high reving head and it will choke the flow at some point ....hopefully this setup wont

nismo.capri
This is how you fit a single piece exhaust Back out to put the booster, master cylinder and pedal box in. I also need to cut the gear stick hole, put in the drive shaft and tighten/split pin the suspension.

nismo.capri
Did you isolate the tapping noise you detected Si? Yeah, some dickhead (that would be me) didn't tighten up the water pump pulley bolts ....luckily nothing came off. I was shitting, I was thinking there was a cam issue but once I had pulled the tappet cover off and everything looked good I relaxed a bit, then Marty said "you might want to tighten that up" pointing to the pulley. This thing would have to be a starter for 1st friday of the month meet yeah? Definitely once it's legal... have the meets ever attracted the cops? nismo.capri
A whole 500 meters to the petrol station to fill the tyres and gas. It felt very good, strong low down. Can't wait for the dyno...

nismo.capri
I took it to work today and I'm really enjoying driving it even thought I'm not using full throttle yet (still running in). Piss me right off though the fuel pump died, sounds and feels like it's jammed it goes tick then makes the noise that electric motors that are being stopped from turning make. Luckily I got my hands on an almost new Bosch 350HP pump for $150. Thankfully the guys at work let my park it inside as it's pissing down ATM. nismo.capri
Fukkin fuel pump died on friday, first day I took it to work too dam it! ...to be fair it was of a VL commodore so it was at least 22 years old. Installed a Bosch 350HP pump and I always thought the VL pump was the 350 one but nope, this one is way bigger and doesn't fit in a coil bracket. Once I got the pump swapped I went out for a decent run in and man am I loving it, responsive and good acceleration. I haven't tweaked the cam timing yet and I'm still not running max advance on the ignition as I'm waiting for the 91 octane to run out I'm already thinking I want a bigger cam I think Gaz might be right about going for an FR32, I'm going to use the roller followers so it will be a custom cam. That said I'm still wondering how that might effect the 3000-4000 range as it's really punchy with this cam (factory cam with GT grind) which is where it needs it being a daily driver. Hopefully will have a wide band O2 tomorrow so I'll be able to tweak things with out getting it to wrong.
nismo.capri
No wide band O2 yet but I did get the narrow band in and got the Link talking to the laptop. Tuned out a couple of lean spots and upped the accelerator pump zones. It's feeling good Installed the slapper bars I think I need bigger door stops

Brock-Lee
iI think hes saying that the stop wants to be closer to the leaf to start with. Its in the right postioin but the spring can still wind a up a fair bit before that hits the leaf.
