The cruises with just old school are pretty average that last one was the best by far even if there were a few primer cars. Maybe meet up sumner cruise out to Pines beach for a ice cream & then back to the groynes or spencer for BBQ . To pegasus via kiapoi, using the old waimak bridge - so turn off at the main north road, then left at chaneys (rather than heaps of 100kph driving at least can drive through one small town!) Right through kiapoi, Drive until we get to pegasus, find some long ish stretch of road/park to park up inside pegasus, enjoy the view or not, then bugger off.. http://maps.yellow.co.nz/#p=map&to=Pega ... hways=true Drive back to the groynes (groynes as filthy one pointed out has bigger areas - more car parks..)
