tortron
some of you may remember my previous bike project - a front wheel drive chainsaw engined bike with 5 gears. Aptly named "the suicycle" well i feel its time for a new project, all the details havnt been worked out yet but im taking this 60's era kids bike, will be a nice base, will of course look not a hell of alot like this when im done then adding these most likely i will be building a rear engined trike discuss
Simon
Awesome. Father bought two of these in america cos they were cheap. No one wants them as leaf blowers. 5HP 160cc Honda New etc. Could twist dads arm to sell it for $300. Could make the motor look old school + it would go hard. You probably dont want to spend that much but would be sweet laying a skinny number 11 down the foot path.

Vintage Grumble
Mean idea, a few months ago I started a little project like this, trying to make a 1920's motorcycle replica out of an old push bike and a 2hp side shaft B&S motor. What kinda style you gonna do this in?
Rusty
off topic but that would be cool to ride at night sparks galore.
10Speed
how long until a pedal catches and you go over I wonder...
Rusty
how long until a pedal catches and you go over I wonder... Why use the peddle when you have motor power?
10Speed
Why use the peddle when you have motor power? even not pedalling, just leaning would be interesting...
kyteler
I would assume both the pedal chain and engine chain are attached to a free-wheeling rear cog. So when not being driven, they just spin.
Steelies
mean. tortron please stick with two wheels unless you have the essential trike accessory - a balance-challenged old man with huge moustache to clutch lovingly to your hips as you bound across the canadian countryside, stopping only for gas, sleep and raging old man sex
