karmagedon
Sweet so picked up the silvia today. Not as pristine as I thought it would be, however, not everything in life is. Things that are wrong with it: Needs new front rotors as LF is scored by about 1mmX1mm groove. Rust in rear window surround - will get a quote for that tomorrow Rust in the panels by door windows, not sure what the panel is called, but apparently they just unbolt. Roof is wavy, don't know how to fix that. But overall the car is in great conition
Raizer
It looks sweet all in all, by wavy roof is it wavy panel or wavy fucked paint? Oh and auto or manual, turbo or non, SR or CA?
karmagedon
Appears to be wavy in panel. Oh and auto or manual, turbo or non, SR or CA? ahh some very good points I missed. Manual, non turb CA with about 170k on the clock

karmagedon
Factory 5 or converted? Umm, not really sure what you mean, but I assume your talking gearbox. If that's the case then yup its a factory 5 speed. Driftflation prices?? scored this for 2.8 and Eliot?? Depends what you mean by awsome. Current future plans are keeping it DE and working on suspension and brakes, making it handle and stop awesomely. but hey, open to suggestions ( dont be a cone ) I guess. oh yea, SQUARE HEADLIGHTS!!! none of this cefiro projector crap. karmagedon
There seems to be alot of rust in the seams almost everywhere. So I don't know how this will turn out, prob depends on how hard the rust will be to get rid off.
kyteler
What do you mean bro? Take some photo's of your drama's. Rust actually in the seams or just rust staining that's drained from a particular place in the seam?
karmagedon
The following are all from the boot, since that is the only are that I can easily see, however I don't doubt that other parts of the car will differ much. the white in this photo is where I've sanded down and primed, its where the boot rubber sits. and from the engine bay
kyteler
Just looks like minor stuff on the edges of the steel to be honest. Wire brush it all back and then coat all the seams in POR15 paint over if you feel you have to.
karmagedon
I think some of it could just be edges. However that on by the boot rubber is in between the seams, as in I had to seperate the 2 pieces of metal to get the rust in between them. should I POR15 or will primer and paint be good?? kyteler
I'd POR15 it if it were mine, your call though.
