kyteler
Not sure on it in carbon. Body colour though would be pretty sweet.

10Speed
hmmm rotors and pads are shot from my day out at Hampton Downs... I have 2 options standard rotors + street/race pads at $500 or slotted rotors + street/race pads at $1500 thoughts?
karmagedon
slotted / depends how long they will last in the long run. also, why that expensive? are you going oversize aswell?
10Speed
they already are brembo's so largish rotors... no way of knowing life span without trying....
karmagedon
ok so will you be getting replacement brembo rotor's then? ( Guess that explains price ). If you have no problem with the stopping ability of the standard rotors, then why change something that isn't faulty. However, if you find that they are lacking, or fading, then I would go for the slotted.
Truenotch
You seem to be doing a bit of track work in it so I'd say go for slotties and semi race pads.... Since you do a bit on the track they will last a longer, feel better and be more worthwhile than going to standard pads/rotors.
DodgySam
10'r On the old gtir i used to run the standard shitty rotors and a set of full ceramic EBC yellow stuff pads. They dont need warming before they work and holy fuck they stop good! It used to damn near make the gtir nose stand! I rate them highly!!!!!!!! karmagedon
yes I've heard alot about people raving about quality pads along with stock rotors. however, truenothch does have a point in track work. however, If he hasn't experienced any brake fade yet, then will slotted help him at all? ryanfels
I have custom Race Brake pads in mine and its made a HUGE improvement. I havnt taken it on the track yet though

Slots won't reduce brake fade really... That normally happens when discs and fluid get too hot. They will take the beating a lot more and stop the race type pads from glazing up. 350z is a big car and I would have thought that "better is better" no matter what. Lighter cars have fewer issues with standard discs.
FLAWLES
are the rotors different sizes between the std ones and brembos? reason i ask is you could always get the std rotors, and take them to a engineer/brake speacilist and slot them rather than cross drilled is alot cheaper and it is safe please turn your old rotors into clocks
10Speed
the brakes perform well, but get super hot at the track and suffer from serious fade by the end of the day... Brembo's are larger than standard, but also by default aren't slotted....

10Speed
324mm x 30mm front rotors and 322mm x 22mm rear rotors...
