EURON8
Does 1m forward 1m back then 10m back and 15m forward in the driveway count as first drive? Exhaust manifold is a little close to my intake piping and was melting it so making up heat shield and will test it out tomorrow.
sentra
0+1-1+10-15 = -5 so its 5 meters further up the drive than it was? sump?
EURON8
Actually its 0-5+1-1-10+15 = Back to where it was 0 start position, pushed reverse 5m, driven 1m forward, driven 1m reverse, driven 10m reverse, driven 15m forward now back in its original position of being out of the way of of front door. EURON8
Nah, changing the sump to the 18R-C one. Lower radiator hose doesnt really fit nicely with current sump

slacker.cam
Good job man. Good to hear that the clutch is all sorted. I wonder what's causing the miss. It'd be worthwhile to have a look at the timing with a timing light at some stage. Vids of skids please!
EURON8
Just found prefect pictures to figure out my vacuum lines off. From memory, just looking at pics show i got some shit in the wrong place. That might explain the idle/miss/no revs at time. Super super excited to go nut it out tomorrow!!! Super super close now.

KKtrips
What the?? It looks like a pulley has fallen off.. Ah its the oil cap.... Is it creamy? Are you suspecting blown head gasket? Is the cream anywhere else? If its just in the oil cap - don't worry about it - thats common collection point for condensation - hence creamy oil... EURON8
Ya, tis weird. Big odd toyota jobbie. Tis the under side on the inside. Not looking good.
EURON8
Also, slight water leak out the back between head and block. seems to stop once warned. Still got a god awful miss that i cant find. Replaced prefilter today and only minor improvements.
KKtrips
What other symptoms of BHG is it showing?? Seriously - a creamy oil cap don't mean shit.. Give the head a retorque - clean the plugs/chuck new ones at it. When is the miss? Generally a BHG will give a miss till it warms up (30-60 seconds after starting) a little then goes away.. EURON8
The miss is when cold. when warm. at idle. at load. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesnt. Idles high as shit also. Looking fulltime and still needed warrent, i just dont think i have the time. Will try.
KKtrips
I would be looking for vacuum leaks and bad earths (no particular reason other than are the 2 most common causes of faults)
