Jase
just remember to reroute your diff breathers to inside the tray and engine bay before you take it swimming, these were one of the most capable series of hilux and have seen some real cool engine swaps through the 4wd club that rocked around the farm, 3.8 commi motors are a good fit, but supra engines will go etc etc, mine had a dirty 3y which was damn near impossible to kill, have fun dude looks schmick
johnnyfive
So I've been trawling the interblag for pictures. Have stumbled across a few I think I'd like it to end up a bit like these two. But more yellow. And with more spotlights. I'm not sure what my front bumpers off either. Have not seen others with one like it.

CaMpylobacter
those fuelpumps ALWAYS leak. if it's a 3 pipe pump, you wont get one. if it's two pipe then it'll be like $150 or some shit hah.

johnnyfive
Yeah. A meaner carb would be twomeke. Just need to work out what works/get an adapter. Also. Had the potential to burn to the ground this afternoon. Everything doused in oil and fuel + insecure battery = OH FUCK Don't think I've ever opened bonnet and flailed arms so fast before, That is NOT happening again. Had to repair minimal wiring. Still sucked balls though. So yes.. There are some tidying up issues to address still. Might go over the accessory wiring a bit harder too cause its a bit of a mess in places..
