shizzl Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 well i did most of my sump today..i need input of what you guys think...will it work ok. i may leave the back section flat cos theres no bearings there in a rotor... i kinda discovered that the dipstick is un needed due to being nowhere near the bowl now,so i think i might make up a sight glass for checking oil level in the sump..will it work? the same kind they use on oil catch cans etc...just dont know where to get one from.. but shes getting there...just need a mig dammit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That sightglass thing on catch cans is just a standard bit of clear hosing attached to 2 90 degree elbow nozzles isnt it? Should be easy as shouldnt it? But on another note.. some engines pickup oil from the crank case when the pistons come down.. Obviously you dont have pistons but might be something to look into..
