Is the fact its turbocharged, going to cancel out the fact that it appears the middle 2 cylinders might hog all the air with that plenum design? eke_zetec_RWD Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 ha well i wasnt at the dyno today but my car was. first up fuel pump fuse blew on first run after i put a bigger one in! weird how iv driven it there and no issues with it. but thats all good. got 132kw atw on 8psi. im goin there tomorrow to watch him tune it to max power. more eyes and ears the better! eke_zetec_RWD Posted May 21, 2010 Share Posted May 21, 2010 well bad news. either rings arnt sealing or they the wrong type and wont seal. got 135kw atw on 8psi which is real good. got 195kw atw on 17psi which is ok but the amount of blowby was so huge oil was pissing out the breathers. leak down test was mint so must be that the rings cant handle the pressure. so yea i need new pistons and rings id say. we only did a couple of 17psi runs so no actial tuning except for the 8psi map.
