Mr Revhead
definitly go blow through whats the engine? maybe look at things like mg montego for a carb. or mitsi tredia/cordia yes you need a bypass/dump valve, ill be looking into the sw20 VSV as a valve for my plans. you want it plumped back in though, otherwise the noises made will make ppl think youv just OD'd on baked beans.... Mr Revhead
off an sw20! mr2 turbo. i havnt investigated it totally yet, but i think itll work quite well its basicly a 2 chamber valve. instead of a single chamber like a convential dump valve
Yowzer
What difference does a 2 chamber one make?
Mr Revhead
operated by boost/vaccum rather than a spring/vacuum im not saying its what you MUST use. im saying its what ill be looking at. for a s/c by pass valve, a conventianal dump valve prob isnt the best suited. corrupt
so ive mounted my supercharger up now, runs sweet. now im just wondering what the heck the airline outlets/inlets are for on it? i think there are 2 or 3 of them? also was thinking about the technicallities behind me needing to get a cert after its all done if im making over 20% more power. i was wondering, as it has an electricmagnetic clutch, if i turn the s/c off while driving on public roads, then it will "technically" be legal wont it? but mainly concerned about the first question. CaMpylobacter
weird scenario for second stz. even if it's not 0% power upgrade though, merely by changing the induction type you then must get certed etc

davidian
yea definately cert material, theyll be highly dubious about the "turning off while driving" thing think early airbags/hydros which had to be only operational while stationary to be legit stz
Mike-e
supercharged 4m so fucking yuck cunts using wastegates instead of abv's for rofls. talk about the expensive option still huge awesome value if you do it
